NDUGA, THETPN-PBNEWS.COM — The military wing of the West Papua National Liberation Army or TPNPB OPM has asked the Indonesian State to negotiate peace and release hostage pilot Philips Mark Marthens in West Papua who was detained by the military wing of the West Papua National Liberation Army in Nduga .

These negotiations must be carried out by the Government of Indonesia and the Free Papua Organization, the military wing of the West Papua National Liberation Army (OPM TPNPB) and facilitated by supporting countries such as the Melanesian spirit group (MGS) and the international community on the UN agenda. This is because the hostage-taking occurred as a result of a political conflict situation which resulted in a ceasefire in West Papua.

They brought a number of victims from the Indonesian military during the mission to free hostage pilot Philips Mark Marthens in Nduga, West Papua in the last 3 months.

To anticipate the loss of life from the Military and Civilians in West Papua, the Government of Indonesia and the TPNPB OPM must carry out negotiations and these negotiations must be supported by third parties such as international parties for conflict resolution.
